VitaHealth Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“VHM”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is concerned about your right to privacy and committed to properly manage, protect and process your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use, disclose and/ or process your Personal Data. It covers both our online and offline data collection activities, including Personal Data that we collect through this website, third-party social networks, campaigns, contests and events.

By using this website, or by otherwise giving us your Personal Data, you declare that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to us processing your Personal Data in accordance with the manner as set out in this Policy.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data may be collected from you during your course of dealings with us in any way or manner including pursuant to any transactions and/or communications made from/with us. The personal data that we may collect includes but is not limited to your name, email address,  telephone number, date of birth, billing and/or delivery address; and gender.

The collection of your Personal Data by us may be mandatory or voluntary in nature depending on the Purposes for which your Personal Data is collected. The security of your Personal Data is our priority. We shall keep and process your Personal Data in the manner described in this policy. We endeavour to implement appropriate administrative and security measures to safeguard, protect and secure your Personal Data from any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, we will not be responsible for any unauthorised use of Personal Data by third parties which is attributable to factors beyond our control.

It is important that you also play a role in keeping your Personal Data safe and secure. You are responsible for keeping this password confidential and for any use of your account.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Any of your Personal Data provided to us is retained for as long as the purposes for which the Personal Data collected continues. Subject to the exemptions provided under the PDPA, you have the right to request to access and correct your Personal Data held by us. In this respect, you may:

1. check whether we hold or use your Personal Data and request access to such data;
2. request that we correct any of your Personal Data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date;
3. request that your Personal Data be retained by us only as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected;
4. request that we specify or explain its policies and procedures in relation to data and types of Personal Data handled by us;
5. communicate to us your objection to the use of your Personal Data for marketing purposes whereupon we will not use your Personal Data for these purposes; and
6. withdraw, in full or in part, your consent given previously, in each case subject to any applicable legal restrictions, contractual conditions and a reasonable time period.

We will need to validate the identity of anyone making an access request, to ensure that we do not provide your information to anyone who does not have the right to that information.
