Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

An e-invoice is a digital record of a transaction between a seller (supplier) and a buyer (purchaser). It is processed through the government portal for validation and recordkeeping. The e-invoice includes all relevant invoice details, along with a Unique Identification Number (UIN) generated by the government system after verifying key fields such as Tax Identification Number (TIN), IC Number, and others. Additionally, it features a QR code for validation of the e-invoice.

An e-invoice is required if you or your employer need the receipt for tax deduction purposes. It serves as an official, verifiable record of the transaction, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

You can scan the QR code on the sales receipt to access the e-invoice request portal. Alternatively, you can click on this link: [link to form].

VitaHealth prioritises the protection of customer data privacy. To safeguard your personal details, we provide a secure platform where you can enter your information along with your purchase details for the e-invoice submission to IRBM.

We strictly adhere to the Data Protection Act 2010 to ensure that your personal information is secure and protected.

Please allow up to 3 working days for the processing of your e-invoice. We will email it to you once validated. Ensure that all details are correct, as any incomplete or incorrect information may lead to rejection after verification.

If your submission is successful, you will receive an email notification. If the submission is unsuccessful, please review the error message, correct the issue, and submit again.

An e-invoice request must be submitted within 3 days from the date of purchase.

If your request fails, please double-check the data you’ve entered. Ensure that all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) are filled in before submitting your request.

Please check your email inbox. If it’s not there, kindly check your spam or junk folder. Alternatively, you can contact finance@vitalifesciences.com.my for further assistance.

No, you cannot combine multiple receipts for a single e-invoice request.

No, you cannot request for e-invoice for partial items on the receipt.

If you return or exchange the items purchased, an e-refund note will be generated once the receipt is returned (whether before or after the e-invoice is issued). If no e-invoice was requested for the original receipt, both the sales and return receipts will be consolidated into a single e-invoice after month-end.

A non-Malaysian can request an e-invoice using the same method. Non-Malaysians must provide their identification number, such as a passport number, MyPR, or MyK number for individual buyers. For foreign business buyers, a Business Registration number must be entered.

No, you cannot request an e-invoice in the following month because we have already submitted a consolidated e-invoice to IRBM at the end of the month. The request must be made within the same month as the purchase, and the window for submission has passed.

For purchases made via e-marketplace, you will need to apply for an e-invoice directly through the respective e-commerce platform.
